"Landscapes with Attitude"









































Although Ken was born in Matlock Derbyshire, he spent the early part of his life in London and for a short period worked in London's famous Fleet Street as a commercial artist.

A change in career saw Ken enter the business world of commerce, although he continued to maintain his interest in art by painting commissions and exhibiting throughout the South of England.

Having moved to  East Anglia almost 40 years ago Ken  works as a full time Artist and Demonstrator.

Ken's minimalist "Less is More" approach is inspired by his love of big dramatic East Anglian skies, the atmospheric and barren beauty of Mountain, Moor and Wetlands, some of his paintings being described as "Landscapes with Attitude".
